This Just In: Chris Eiswerth Trapped in Nichter's Basement!

For the last couple of months we have lived under the impression that DCXC alumnus "Pissy Chrissy" Eiswerth has been working in Korea as an English teacher. This, in fact, is not the case; in reality he has been terrorizing appliances and hiding out in Coach Nichter's basement since he graduated in May. Eiswerth, you can come out of the clos... of the basement now. We know your secret and you owe it to Nichter to fix all of the destruction you have caused on W Street.

For those of you who have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, suffice it to say that Chris has been up to no good this week. An email from the coach-man himself explains:

"there is [an alumnus] in my basement.......running around and uncatchable so I have to call an exterminator tomorrow"
The ever-valiant Nate Yancheff offered to do battle with that snarky gremlin for a small fee -- the right to refuse participation in Secret Sneaker evermore -- but I think you need to be on the cross country team to even qualify for the S.S. workday. Sorry Nate.

So that's is for now. Chris is living in Nichter's basement, chewing through wires and wreaking havoc on the denizen of an otherwise quiet abode. He must be stopped; he will not go quietly into the night.

Who you gonna call?

Where (Blogs) Fear to Tread

Though I do not frequent the pseudo-literary world of blogger (dot) com, I have read enough user pages to realize that at some point everyone apologizes for their lack of consistency in writing. I find myself, five or so posts into my blogging career, being thrown at the mercy of an anonymous audience, sorry for giving up on this endeavor so early on in the process. This recognition, however, does not mean that I am going to be writing any more frequently, just that I realize I am not on the ball. Deal with it.

Now that I'm writing, though, I may as well point out that DC Track takes over the Kline Center starting January 16. I, for one, am stoked to get back on the boards, and can't wait to race indoors. I should also point out that when I say "take (sic) over the Kline," I really mean use the facility only when given the okay by our AD and both b-ball coaching staffs. Don't want to get in the way of those basketball stars... on the court... in the middle of the track.

That's all for now. Thanks for coming out.
